What We Do

LBC provides a service to both companies and the general public (home owners, agents and builders and developers).

  • We are a "building control body" providing a building control service. This means that new building work is checked for compliance with the Building Regulations, consultations  and site inspections are carried out and a Final Certificate issued at satisfactory conclusion of works

- now you can choose whether to use Local Authority Building Control or London Building Control Ltd.

  • We operate right across the south of England, from the South Coast, London and up to the Midlands and Wales

- so we can deal with all your work, wherever you are in the South.

  • LBC also carries out fire safety risk assessments - the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires a written assessment where there are 5 or more persons at a place of work.

  • Our main client base is made up by working directly with architects, agents, builders, developers and householders.

  • Our aim is to provide you with a helpful approach to building control, getting away from unnecessary bureaucracy, so that you can concentrate on the job at hand
